That's ridiculous. I know when I applied for MA (which I didn't have for long because I make too much ) they just took whatever contact info I sent (mine) plus the statement thingy from AP. Was never a question beyond that.

Yeah, this is the first time they've done it here. I've had them for 3 years and during my 6 month reviews they just took my words for it, and the 12 month they wanted a copy of my last three month deposits from AP. This new policy is dumb. But I don't like foodstamps anyway so overall I'm over it.

how can my script find the return button for this type of hit? the hit is focused on a textbox within an iframe when the hit page loads. I want to remove focus from the frame. the script has to switch focus to the outer part of the hit. you can see from my script by clicking tab, this goes to the first link in the frame, not the first link on the page. I have had this focus problem with other hits too. @Kadauchi or anyone else can you please help? I am all out of ideas.

You have to have a userscript running on the top level page with a listener that triggers the function you want at that level. You can do that with postMessage.

Food Stamps are so nice when you need them, but they make you jump through so many hoops.
I get angry when people say we should drug test people who want food stamps or that those people must be lazy.
If they ever had to apply , they would know how hard it is.

Pretty much this. Haven't used them myself, but I got in the face of someone who was giving another shit for having them. Fellow backed down real fast when he couldn't find the answers to the questions I shot at him.

I used to believe that they should be drug tested, then I thought, damn, a lot of kids would go hungry through no fault of their own... like sorry suzie, u should have kept your mom off drugs, then you'd be eating this month.

While we're on the topic of government assistance programs, has anyone here ever dealt with MAGI-based medicaid eligibility in Ohio? Between the federal marketplace's calculations and Ohio/County Jobs and Family, we've been getting shuffled from one to the other since December.

If you're using Chrome you might have to use GM_addValueChangeListener. Iirc cross domain postMessage might not work in Chrome anymore.

The part I hate about food stamps is the workers act like you are taking money away from them. Hell, if I wasn't getting food stamps you wouldn't have a job and then you would need to be applying also.

Also, they started drug testing in one state and found that only 5% of people applying failed. It was a huge waste of money

Earlier this year Think Progress assembled results from 7 states that have tried drug testing recipients of welfare or food stamps in the last few years. Out of 38,970 welfare applicants, 48 people got positive drug tests in Missouri. Utah blew $64,566 to catch 29 people who did llegal drugs. Arizona found 3, and Mississippi just 2.
