Here's the thing with me these days, not that anyone cares, but just... it might give some perspective: I am taking care of a seriously grouchy, irritable and irritating person who happens to be a stroke victim 24 hours a day, seven days/week. I have absolutely no tolerance or threshold for bullshit or crap anymore. None.

I'm sorry. I can only imagine. I feel that way with 3 kids (who are actually pretty good kids.) I don't have the tolerance or the time for anyone else's bullshit. I hope things get better for you (and the person you're taking care of) soon.

I treat them like a game that I've made some mental rules for. Real over Cartoon. People over objects. Image over text, etc. Then I stick to my rules and reverse them for round 2. I don't get too many warning emails from them. Still not a huge fan because I feel like I am one click away from getting another warning. The last one I got was, I clicked in the same position too many times. I thought, as long as I don't click the same image in both rounds I'd be fine. Nope. Strangely picky. I still do 'em, though.

I just got banned for clicking the same position too many times. which doesn't make sense to me, since the images aren't in the same position each round

Ah yes, my favorite time to come back to mTurk: that awkward stretch of time in between jobs where you haven't quite gotten a full paycheck from the new job yet but you ran out of money from the old job.

Anything worth working on that an out of the loop turkey may want to keep an eye out for? Gotta feed the cats (otherwise, they don't let me sleep, and then the new job doesn't go as well with me being sleep deprived and all.)
