Mturk sole income, plus other small bills. do you guys think I can make $850 before August? Non-masters, and don't have many closed quals at all...I'm getting a bit scared because if I can't pay for school idk what I'm gonna do

Some of us make that in a week. How they do it comes in numerous forms.
1. Find a qual that pretty much makes up your whole week. For me that is OCMP5. When you're bored and have nothing to do, search through some pages for random hits that have a qual test connected to them. Many times, hardly anyone knows about a particular batch if there is a qual test on it. Joshua Introne is one of those guys and he was an easy $50/day for a good month.

2. Pace yourself. Looks like there's nothing up? Don't do anything. Working for under minimum wage is one of the quickest ways you'll get burned out on this platform. Try to pay attention to which requester's people speak of.

3. Learn the trade of AHK. Scripting is truly your only friend in this bleak and dreary world, so it is a good idea that you learn it. It WILL maximize your income potential from a given batch. There's even a few scripts out there that assign 1-7 as a hotkey and lets you get through surveys quicker since you don't have a need to use your mouse. I myself am not very good at AHK so I couldn't provide much help, but it is easy to learn. Kadauchi is your friend.. given he's here and feels like sharing.

4. I'm here to help. I know the struggle of trying to get through school as I had to work 12 hour shifts on some school nights just to make minimum wage to pay for it. If August rolls around and you are in trouble financially, hit me up. I'll help you make ends meet.

I do the same with my rent, but I end up taking days off and have to do it in much less time lol.

I started this as my sole income the beginning of March, with 7000 and no quals, no masters. In 3 months, I've made $8000, with a 4 kids to deal with. It's completely doable, if you commit to it.

Some of you non-frequent Reddit-goers may have missed this. It is a live feed of hits that works on a up/downvote system. Helps you see which hits are still active, which reduces the amount of time you will be reading back on the forum to find posts about them. Only downside seems to be that it doesn't pick up on the regular panda-only batches such as Wallstreet or some of the Google guys. Haven't used it much myself yet, but it looks pretty useful.
