06/21 - The Price is Right on Tuesday!

[Shuten Doge]

Day 4 with my grown adult child living at home. Would someone be so kind as to stop by at some point today and murder me. How HOW does spaghetti sauce end up on the bathtub over night, and toast crumbs end up in the utensil drawer? HOW?!?! I am going to need to be committed. Also, don't tell me grown adult is redundant I know what I said.

I woke up this morning to a trickle of hot water coming out of the sink faucet in the bathroom, the toilet wasn't flushed, the shower was dripping, the biggest plate in the house was used to make a single PB&J that he somehow got Jelly all over, left the plate sitting on the counter overnight, and the Jelly got left out overnight. This type of stuff happens pretty much daily. My roommate is 27 and quite possibly the most useless person I have ever met.

He never cleans anything. He once "wanted to help" around the house and said he would do the dishes. He looked at a sink full of dishes and said "I don't know where to start" then just left them. Hes lived here for 2 years and never once cleaned the bathroom, despite his girlfriend staying here a couple of times a week and using everything like she owned the place. Her dog couldn't stay at her moms house so they just move it in here where it continued to piss and shit all over our dining room carpet every day for a month. I'm ragging on him the whole time how this is unacceptable until finally I blow up on him and his girlfriend, then they made me out to be the bad guy.

I wasn't planning on typing all that out, just the first paragraph, but thinking about how useless he is makes me want to strangle puppies.

Try and find a new roommate. Its not worth it.

Im glad mine is an ex roommate from college. We let the soda boxes/pizza boxes stack up sometimes but everythings clean. Also helps to have two bathrooms though...
