A catfish is someone who pretends to be someone they're not using Facebook or other social media to create false identities, particularly to pursue deceptive online romances.

Did you hear how Dave got totally catfished last month?! The fox he thought he was talking to turned out to be a pervy guy from San Diego!

You should read the description/instructions for scripts before you install them. And you should also go to our resources section where many of your peers have already taken their time to answer these questions and many more.

Sorry :( I'll hush now and go re-read now that I have at least a base knowledge of stuff. TY for the link.

Takes too much time. Easier to hit install and push all the buttons and see what happens.
I read them, sometimes I just have deeper questions. I apologize for being a pest.

HitMonitor? I ahven't heard that one yet..is that the sidebar thingie that comes up on my dashboard since I installed TM? Gah I feel like a complete moron lol.
That little side bar is part of TurkMaster.

Hit Monitor, I believe, is a script that allows you to set specific key words to watch. Mostly requester names. And then at X second intervals, the script will refresh and do a search for all of your keywords at once.

So if you set your keywords to "google" "endor" and "zoltar", every X amount of seconds the script will refresh and search Mturk for any hits that contain "Google" "endor" or "zoltar".

It saves on page requests, because instead of running one alert for each individual requester/HIT, it can use one page request to look for a bunch of requesters/HITs.

You don't have to apologize for being a pest. But if you know that "sidebar" thing appeared on your dashboard after you installed TM, but you don't know what it is or what it does, you should go back and read the instructions for the script. You can't get down to any deeper questions about the script until you have a basic understanding of what it does and where it lives.
