Nope.
Our teachers are happy too- b/c they still have 5 days, so they have a whole day of planning/training/paperwork time to actually get things done. (Our governor is a dumbfuck...wasn't give them enough paid time for what was required...)

Different.

I've only attended and taught at 5 days. Will your school do the A Classes on one day and B Classes the next day or have 7 periods during the entire day? I think with a 4 day system the AB would work pretty well.

We have <1800 people in town, very tiny PreK-12th grade school, and a severe teacher shortage in the state; we're lucky with our town/budget size to keep who we have... if we messed with the teacher's classes- we'd lose some of them I'm sure.
They have extended the day by adding 20 mins in the am and 20 mins in the pm. That way all three "schools" (we're all in the same building with the same school day....) can function time-wise.

And it fits our schedule already when we "school" during summer/breaks, and when I have one schooling at home. (My oldest is this year....) So they wish a lot that they'd have Fridays off lol. (And we have Fridays in session when we have a Monday holiday! So teachers aren't losing their days off- or losing a day of pay....)
