I really want Kingkiller Chronicles book 3 to come out. This will have to take it's place until then Patrick Rothfuss is great if you're into those kind of books.

Me, too! Well, when I was in high school. Cuz I lived on a farm 8 miles out of town, so too far to walk. I would hang at the library until Mom picked me up on her way home from work.

Back then she actually had to come inside and find me cuz we had no cellphones for her to use and tell me she was in the parking lot

We have like <1800 people in our town, and we're lucky to have a library at all It's tiny, and every dollar saved counts.

About the size of mine...and just got a library...what freaked me out just a tad is...what happened to books?? Seriously, there was a fraction of of books compared to all the other crap, guess I'm getting old.

Yup, it's a novella? (I guess.) I think it took me longer to get into the second one but yeah the first one was more engaging.

Between ASoIaF, Kingkiller, and Stormlight archives, I'm really regretting starting series before they are finished >.<

I haven't read any of his books, but I've seen him many times on the Acquisitions Incorporated games for DD and he is very funny.

To be fair, Brandon Sanderson knocks books out so fast he almost has another one out before you finish reading. He's like the anti-GRRM.

Edit: If you haven't tried his Mistborn and Elantris series, they're also really good. Also his Steelheart books, though they're different than the others (more comic book hero oriented)
