I never knew until a couple days ago that some are named after people on this forum.

To be honest, I suck at turking because I do this mostly at my desk job. There are many, many great paying hits I can't do at work. I have to let those go by and do the ones I can accomplish while doing another job. I would probably be better at this if I could focus more on it.

Can't tell you guys how many times I see y'all working on a batch I can't do at work (anything that requires speaking, most video hits, and anything that requires my undivided attention that if I look away I blow the hit, like those speed ones.)

Oh, and I won't get up at 5 am to catch good stuff that posts at 8 am Eastern. Not much gets me out of bed at 5 am. Not even my demanding cat.

But with all that, I'm glad this is available for what I can do. And I am now refusing to do grossly underpaid hits on principle.

don't let your cat wake you up - never feed the cat as part of your morning ritual. make that sucker wait. he won't starve. teach him that you control the food in the house. otherwise you're teaching the cat that if you happen to be asleep, the action of awakening will lead to food.

I've been sitting here 14 hrs straight, made a very few bucks at a couple other sites also today, waiting to here back from another,...mostly this was it. Very literally my only option right now and don't want to do the math, will be glad when I get better at this, but after going 2 months w/out electricity this Spring, little kids....I'll take it!! And thanks for everyone here or I would have given up on this after the first week!!

Most of my days go from 7am-5pm or later. But for me, I am glad I get to do it at home, in my pajamas, and on my computer. Keep it up! Every little bit counts! You might have "only" made $24ish but the more you do mturk and stick around here, the better you will get!

I actually have like 20 of these, probably. I just only ever added a few because adding smilies is like the worst thing ever.

Agreed! Because my cat has already trained me learned that weaving in and out of my feet and placing herself wherever I decide to step in an attempt to make me fall and break a hip DOES result in me going to her FULL bowl of food and stirring it up so she will eat.

Apparently the top gets stale? I dunno. I just stir it up so she stops trying to kill me.

cats are hunters. the moment food is prepared is the most exciting part. the fact that the food was never changed is irrelevant to most cats.
