That is so sad--and unexpected for Truckee. I lived just over the hill in Kings Beach for 6 years and I wasn't ever worried about anything like that happening. That was 16 years ago, so things have changed, apparently.

well honestly that can happen anywhere, I tell everyone I know, never get into a argument with someone you don't know. You have no idea how much training they have plus the length they will go to. walk away. but if they touch you be prepared to take it as far as it needs to go...
