Our friends left town and gave us some groceries - including half-and-half. I haven't bought it in a few months, so it was a treat and I was really looking forward to it.

Dd asked me how it was - later in the day - and I said, really, not all that good. Frankly, it was a disappointment. I even added a lot extra to get more flavor.

She said, oh - well, I had some, so I added milk to it
