Dexter was one of the very best shows that became one of the very worst it is heart breaking because they just did whatever the hell they wanted, the books are crazy good, they should have stuck to the source material, it's what made it so stupidly popular i don't know why the deviated.

I know the original show runner left right when it went downhill. Maybe it has something to do with that?
