I wish i could quit the desk job. Thought about it. Obvs it doesn't pay me what I need or I wouldn't be turking.

Then I added in my benefits to my salary and realized I have to keep the job. Dammit.

Yep, if I had anyone else to support, etc. due to benefits I'd probably still be toiling away. Surprisingly decent benefits, tbh. But the stress reduction and increase in base pay (seriously...) is totally worth it for me.

If turking had been a thing when I was in college and single and no kids I probably would not have worked a desk job. Back then medical would have only cost me $150 per month, or I could have relied on the college.

Now? Medical is a freaking nightmare amount of money.
