Totally serious question. What is "a good whiskey"? I've heard this. Never found a whiskey I like unless it's fruited up with other syrups.

like any spirit, you have to build up a taste for it

literally any whiskey becomes pretty delicious once you can start picking out flavors. Taking it on the rocks can help to mellow some of the burn. "Good whiskey" generally refers to stuff that has a lot of burnt/aged wood taste, to my palette.

and on their site I can't see their beer, only about the race they did

Bushmill ain't bad as well, I always buy all my liqueur when on cruises at the source and duty free. Main reason I cruise so much. I love rum though
