Just curious about those that do the C-SATS surgeon HITs, how the hell do you identify sutures and whether or not they've been destroyed by the surgeon? I have absolutely no medical knowledge, so are they just looking for an aggregate rating of what people thought about watching the procedure? I don't want to get rejected because I didn't understand what was happening in the video.

Suture is the string or thread that the surgeon will use to close the wounds. It almost never breaks.

What Squatty said. Also I did once see a surgeon get the manipulator caught in a suture and have to cut it out with another tool, so this is for those rare cases. It is possible to use too much force and pull a suture through the tissues also, which is tissue damage etc.
