They take a bit but there's timers that have to count down so if you finish earlier than the timer you can let it run while you work on something else.

You have to wait 15ish minutes as per instructions (I forgot that part too)

How are the HITmeUp HITs not against MTurk's terms of service? They want you to click on a banner ad and report the landing URL, but I'm sure they generate revenue from those clicks since they make you turn your adblocker off.
