Server issues maybe? I've wasted so many pokeballs because my connection/the servers crapped out.

Pittsburgh had it first PokemonGo incident.

News: 15 year old girl hit by car, minor injuries.

Girl: I Crossed the street, Got my Pokemon, and a check point at a museum. Then walking back across the street I walked/ got hit by a car.

Mom: I blame the game!!! Why was she at a museum?? My daughter doesn't go to museums. If it wasn't for the game she would be in her room like the hermit she is.

I don't play but I like to google. Found at least four possibilities:

1. Those pokemon are too hard for your current level, pokebro.

2. The game is being a bitch.

3. You threw a 'curve ball'.

4. Actual real life wind. (Wtf, idk)

It stopped doing it after the purple nidoran so I think maybe i was just too low to catch it like merrylou and google said.
