Ok. So if I wanted a fast desktop what would I look for? What are the main things to make it go fast enough for me. I have a HP Windows XP desktop that has a Pentium 4 processor. I know its old and I want to try to update. And I am cheap so the cheaper I can get it the better.

If you have free time, you might want to watch these video's from Newegg.
I've never built a computer (and as most of you can tell - am pretty ignorant about all of this)..........but - I've been thinking about it. Even if you're not going to do it, they review all of the components and I think it would help for getting a pre-built computer.
