ear nose and throat are all connected, and sometimes use the same medicine for each area. additionally, the same eyedrops that you use to remedy pinkeye is used for swimmers ear.

what is imitrex anyway? I've never gotten around to googling it, but when I was 18, i went to the ER from a stroke, and imitrex was one of the medicines he said to inform doctors that it could be fatal for me

im from a med family, ive read WAY too many papers and articles and medical books, most the time i sit there while im sick and treat myself and THEN go to the Dr.

Interesting. I wasn't aware of that class of migraine. Definitely a rough time for you. I guess you get to at least tell people you have a pretty rare condition, so that's kinda special. Also if all you had was the complex migraine then your strokes were actually not completely strokes, in that you don't have permanent brain damage, it just mimics the effects.
