Tourists like that are exactly why I wouldn't be able to handle a job like that. I used to do a lot of backpacking and I really wanted to be a ridge walker but a combo of injury, changing life priorities, and just plain distaste for idiots in our national parks steered me elsewhere.

I could fill a day or two telling you stories of all of the tourons out there.

A public service announcement: Don't try to touch the wildlife. Don't get too close to wildlife for your selfies no matter how "calm" the animal appears. There's a reason for those signs. They aren't there just to piss you off, they are there to save your stupid life.

Despite the plethora of idiots, that job was still better than any office job ever. I really think having the type of boss that we did made it be that much better.

I really don't like the C-Sats new pay scale. It used to average out to a decent wage. You do 4 or 5 videos, get a couple 10 minutes but also a 5 minute and a lucky 2 minute. Work 40 minutes and earn $5. not great, but ok.

Now I have done 4 C-sats, a 10 minute, a 6 minute, and two 3 minutes and earned $2.59.
I'm debating not doing them anymore.

@PeachyRider if you want a more wholesome way to feel better, you could join a volounteer program in your neighborhood, like the boys and girls club or YMCA... helping out the community and meeting new people could take your mind off of everything
