I'm at 11,000 approved. I'm not really new or in danger. I just literally can't stand at all the idea of being a failure.
That would be hard to get a rejection after such a perfect record. At the same time...holy cow, none?? It should almost be a relief to get the one. You gotta figure a certain percentage just for crappy requester issues and nothing to do with your failure!

I think one of the biggest issues is how blocks absolutely negate the rejection system. I was fairly happy with having 30,000 hits and 10 rejections. Then I woke up to two block emails in the same day (one was a survey block the other way my fault). I nearly died.

I'm really obsessed with being good and perfect and awesome so this is just hard to swallow right now, especially because of unexplained reasoning.

It's the threat of blocks rather than rejection that keep me from doing most no TO hits and stuffs.

I got an unexplained confusing rejection this past week, my very first and only rejection, and I'm emailing the requester...I'm in tears right now.
for most turkers, some rejections are a good thing. It means you are taking risks and working hard. Almost every good turker has some (even a lot) of rejections (the only exception this rule is YAHU @YAHU - and really, can we all be :yahu:?

If you play it very safe and only do things that won't reject, you'll have great numbers - but you won't earn much money. Turking is about risk and benefit as much as anything else:bode:
