Anyone idea what causes HitScraper to freeze all chrome windows for a couple seconds when it refreshes HITs? It doesn't always happen, but it's frequent enough to be annoying

I've noticed a lot of issues with chrome. The hitscraper thing happens a lot. (even when my cache is clear). I also can't even go to wowhead for more than a few minutes or chrome crashes. Speaking of which, the pre-patch for Legion comes out today for any WOW players.
