Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. Let me begin by offering my sincere apology for the issue with the attention check. I have contacted my student and we are working to resolve the issue and to compensate participants whose surveys were originally rejected. We value the participation of those who work on Mturk and we're committed to ensuring they are compensated for their time.

Please feel free to share my response in your forum. We will also be responding directly to emails we've received about this issue.

I also got a similar email. It seems that the integrity of her study comes not only at the cost of HER reputation, but also at the cost of Clemson University's reputation, too. Seems she's representing her school in a negative light here.
