WHEN WE TUNED IN LAST WEEK, CORDELIA WAS IN A PICKLE...
New requester Cordelia E. Davis posted a $5 HIT last week. She's a grad student researcher at Stanford. She rejected many of us for somewhat sketchy reasons (funky double consent box setup, however HIT leads you to give data for 50 minutes, then rejects & does not pay). Requester did not respond to anyone's email, nor take responsibility for her new survey, and she had no prior Mturk work history on T.O.
4 of 7 T.O. reviews are red REJECT.
Two of us (at least!) contacted Stanford's IRB (Institutional Research Board). I spent A LOT of time writing to requester, and IRB. Too much... My rejection rate is very, very low. This OCD aspect of my personality? Is one reason why.
Today, the rejection has been reversed, and she paid. Hallelujah !!
Will be updating her TO today. And will not work for this Mturk Stanford researcher, again.
