Sad to say, when much younger, I actually took back a boyfriend because he came to the door, after acting an ass, and offered to do my dishes, toolbox in hand, and offered to fix a faucet too {not a euphemism. Unfortunately}.

I hate doing dishes. And yeah, okay the faucet did need a little work...

I hated myself for letting him in the door for round 2.... still worth it (dishes washed, check!! And of course make up sex.. which is nuclear anyway)
