Just fucking terrible. My mom emailed me about a month ago about how this kid was standing on a toilet and showing her parents their active shooter drill for the bathroom. I never had to do that growing up and it's just terrifying now that I have a little girl of my own.

Yeah that stuff is scary. But, I do kinda shake my head at people that say the world is ending, yada, yada, yada, this is the digital age. News spreads instantly! We more then likely never would have heard about this 15-20 years ago. and if we did. would've been a small blurb a day or so later. Not saying it's a bad thing. It helps. But just way more easier to digest news. when people can literally live broadcast themselves there without a news van etc etc.

Absolutely, it would have taken days or a week or more for this type of news to spread to our country 100 years ago. Now it's immediate. By every metric we live in the best time in humanity's history, but it's still a ridiculous reality that kids now will grow up with.
