Same. I knew I should have hoarded them. Only grabbed like 5 though.
I grabbed 22, there is no way i am going to finish them before they start to expire.

jnalleyne @jnalleyne In all seriousness though, I think bxpretzel @bxpretzel has a solid approach. Monitor the forums, be selective (and efficient) in which surveys you accept. I think HS can be valuable still, especially for people like us starting out still. Just keep at it and grind through the summer. They've all told us how much better it gets once people are back in school.
i don't really know about the whole "it gets better for the school year" thing. i've said quite a few times here that i work for a major research university and the research does not stop during the summer. look at me, i'm still working. we're all 12 month employees, it's only the majority of students who are not here. researchers work through the summer and a good number of students are still taking summer classes or doing research independent of classes. my two best months since starting turking last september were may and june and i have not noticed a decline in the amount of work that is regularly up. i would say that 95% of my work is still academic surveys

I'm gonna turn the computer off for a while. It's 93 in my house and I think we're all overheating. Good luck getting all the $$ this afternoon!
See you, sweetie. Have a good day!

I think it's more a competition thing that slows us down in the summer. people out of school. more stuff snatched up waay faster. even if it's a small bump of people in the summer just turking. that can really take a toll on available work.

what? you're cold at 75? we keep the house at 68 and i still get hot at night sometimes. granted, our a/c unit can't keep up during the day and it gets to like 72-74 until the evening when it can cool down again.
