Update on Cordelia E Davis rejection HIT:
Earlier this week, I spent a lot of time writing, researching, & being forced to talk to a college's IRB, to get this rejection reversed. Several Mturkers worked together to make this happen.
This requester finally reversed the rejection just 2 days ago, on 7/21/16, 1 week after the original rejection. This process took 4+ hours of my time. This reversal took 1 week. This requester did not communicate after the rejection, until the IRB was involved.
It has been 2 days since the rejection was reversed. After 7 days of waiting, writing, and frustration.
I wrote a T.O. review of my experience.
Today, Cordelia E Davis messaged me here from Mturk Crowd account "Gorillas in the Mist" with the following text:

My response:
I will update my T.O. as an Mturk worker for you, in a timely manner. You have shown me what that is for your research participants. I offer you the same.

I PMed you the message "TO said the rejections were overturned. Why not change the TO to reflect that? You did post on 2 forums that you would update TO. Inaccurate TO doesn't help workers or requesters."
Also, the requester did nothing wrong. You failed to consent to their research. They can not use that data. Why should they pay for data they can't use? Others were able to check the consent box. Take some responsibility for your error.

concise, you are honestly one of the most talented articulate people I have ever met. I think it's a bit creepy that the requester made an account on this forum for you to change the TO. We all know their survey software malfunctioned and that you also mentioned you would change the TO.

Mine was like that at the beginning too. I had to keep closing the browser and reopening until it worked.
