Ok, I'm stupid. I messed up and thought HM was HS.
HM has never worked for me, I'm doing it wrong.
that said, I don't understand using it in a private window; extensions like tampermonkey don't seem to load on incognito windows.
advice would be appreciated.

If you still struggle, someone else will have to help out with the tampermonkey/incognito thing....I use firefox which runs greasemonkey instead of tampermonkey.

yea, I already use greasy fork on firefox too - i switch between browsers. I already have that HM, and I just used it in firefox's private window.
it still doesn't work though. I currently have it set to look for "brelig" and it's also named the same: brelig.

I hit run, and nothing happens. it doesn't detect anything. I don't get it
