I can guarantee that they were different for sure. Some of the music labels wouldn't let them keep the original music videos in there for the DVD release without paying them royalties, cause they were all butt-hurt about the ongoing Napster / downloading / OMFG I can't afford that 13th gold faucet set for Lars fiasco. Mike Judge had to go back and re-record those with new lame videos they could use.

but also the episodes. i swear the ones in the dvd were unfamiliar, despite having been previously sure that i'd seen them all. I'm sure of it. and my previous assuredness was assuredly exact!
