I won't. Did Ratatouille give up when everyone told him he couldn't be a chef? Nope, he went and did it anyway and put the health of a lot of customers at risk and managed to get a historic, Michelin-starred restaurant shut down.

And that's my inspiration.

Patton Oswalt has a great riff on Ratatouille, since he did the voice for the part in the movie. He had to stop answering the doorbell at Halloween, because at the time, kids were wearing his rat suit, from his character in the movie. He'd start to say, "How does it feel walking around in my skin? I played that part you know... do you feel me wrapping around you?"... then backed off and said no, you'll traumatize them, go smoke a joint and let it go...

Ah Patton Oswalt. Such a clearly mentally f*cked up brilliant man.

So me and my nephew were playing Lego Marvel Superheroes and he really liked Howard the Duck in that game. He ended up finding out about this movie and I ended up watching this disaster with him.

It's a work of art. It should have gotten more Oscar buzz but '86 was a busy year with "Out of Africa" and "The Color Purple".....politics.
