Just got off the phone with my student loan company (AES). Haven't been able to work much because I felt like shit without my meds, so I couldn't make the full payment. So I had to get a forebearance. Since AES sucks, I have the sick feeling I'm eventually gonna get fucked over bigtime.

It's turning out to be that going to college was the biggest of bad mistakes I've made in my life.

My servicer is not much better but a forbearance is just a hiccup, not the end of the world. Just pay attention to the dates set on the forebearance and your next payment date. And perhaps consider IBR if you haven't already. I legit cried when I found out my loans could be switched over to IBR.
