nope, your rent or mortgage should be at max 30% of your income, if your bills ain't too bad and your in a high cost of living area, you might can go 40%, but anything over that and your living beyond your means which creates huge problems
Oh I totally agree I was just reading it wrong. My rent is about a week's paycheck for me which is perf.

In theory, yes. You have "flexibility" if you are just a guy with a second house that your renting out. You won't get "shopped" like you will if you have 5+ and licensed.
In theory until you end up in court, lol. That's how I get probably 1/8th of my new owners. The ended up in court on a Fair Housing issue and never want to make that mistake again. I feel sorry for them as it can be horrible to have a judge tell you you did something illegal when you didn't mean to. I always give out free information to anyone who calls us looking for info. I'm not allowed to give ADVICE when it comes to laws, but I can state what the law is and what is or is not legal. :)

Our current rent is $890 a month, which sucks for what we get (1 bedroom, tiny apartment.) But we'll be likely moving back to Florida soon to the property my dad is giving me. It won't have a rent or a mortgage so I'm hoping it'll save us a bit of money.

I like Rush, but these are so much better:

Rush 2049 had the best gimmick though.
An arcade game........in which you can save your progress.....freaking mindblowing at the time.

They got so many damn quarters out of me. :rain:

Wait, what? Where is this a rule? That sounds terrible
It's a rule that makes me feel sick sometimes. I have to turn down good people who are on disability or Social Security because they don't even make 2x's the rent. Unless they can prove they have a track record of affording the rent, I have literally no choice (due to fair housing laws, I have to apply all rules equally). There have been days I've gone home and felt like a horrible person for dashing the hopes of a 72 year old woman whose husband just died and now she only has her SS.
