Anyone here ever had eiswein/ice wine? I keep hearing about it and I'm curious, but it gets expensive fast, so if I do try it, it'll be a treat. Anyone have any wisdom to share?

hell yes. canada also makes it but I am not sure if they are allowed to call it ice wine and it's significantly cheaper.... also gets you trashed good trashed no hangover

Yeah, Canada officially makes it. My state does, too, apparently, but only during specific times. I really wanna try it. But if you say Canada's is cheaper, I'm definitely looking into it.

The only place I've bought it from was a local winery in Michigan and iirc that's the only place you can buy it, but every time I go I get a case. >_>
