Basically, yeah. Nowhere in the literature does it say you are entitled to your money instantly. It has always taken significantly less time to get the money than what they said it would. It's like getting pissed at a requester who has an autoaccept time set at 30 days for not approving before then.

But the issue is the same as it ever was. Mturk is disastrous at communicating. Captchas went and came back and we still don't know why, transfers used to be instant and now they're not and who knows why that happened.

A simple heads up from the mturk team consisting of 2 bricks and a broom would tamp down so much community speculation. Even some shitty twitter account where they could say, " Hey this thing is happening, deal with it plebs" would help.

Doesn't matter if I have any RIGHT to be angry, and I'm not gonna throw a hissy fit AT amazon for doing it, but I'm sure as hell gonna be a little pissy cause I didn't get to eat hamburgers last week cause I didn't KNOW to plan accordingly.

Is it technically my fault? Sure, why not. I mean it is in the documentation that it could take 24 hours.
Does it make it any less shitty to make a change that one should KNOW hundreds of people would be unsettled/upset about even if it's "in the documentation that I can totally do that"? Nope.
