My first exposure to the show was the US version (watched the first season, idr if I made it til the end). My understanding was that the plots were somewhat similar, at least at the start (and they are), so for me it seemed worth going through the whole UK show first before watching the US version start to finish.

On Series 5 of the UK one now and it's fucking hilarious and worth the watch. If you have any interest in British shows/cultural representations then I'd definitely give it a go. Plus it's got a baby-faced James McAvoy :thumbup:
