this is the main reason why I cook, I know you guys make fun of me for it, but these pre-packaged/fast food meals are not good for you at all. They are made to make you more hungry for sugar, which your body needs just a little of. Diabetes is shooting up in record numbers. I consider some pre-package meals just as bad as cigarettes.
Oh God this is so true. I used to buy pre-packaged all the time because I just wanted to eat when hungry, not have dishes, and because after awhile, you actually start to crave that crap.
I no longer buy pre-packaged foods...haven't for awhile. Yes, it takes longer to make, yes there dishes but MAN does food taste better, and I don't walk around feeling like there's a boulder in my stomach when I'm done eating. I still crave sugar a lot, but I no longer crave all that fat and grease and fried stuff like I used to.
If I can just kick the sugar habit...I'll be doing great.
