Some requesters are so unusual. I just received an email from JPHVS saying that they were going to have to reject some of my hits because I didn't listen to all of the audios. I know I did, most of them I listened to 3 or 4 times.
So they rejected 2 hits, each $1.50 each. I'm not too worried, just shake it off.
Next thing I get a bonus from them.

I got one of those rejections on the batch before that one. I would have rather had the warning too.

I knew I listened to mine and now that you mention it though, there were a few I replayed as well.

Doesn't sound that weird honestly... they felt the work was unusable so they rejected those hits... but then they decided to still pay you for the time you spent.

I'm too poor to get a new laptop. I might sell my gaming laptop it's completely useless to me since I already have a desktop. Just need something that won't give me 3rd degree burns on my groin when I use it on my lap.

Chromebooks will definitely be a good option for something cheap. I got an Acer R11 (CB5-132T-C1LK). 4gb ram and a 32gb SSD vs the eMMC that many have. It has tablet mode and has the Google Play Store so it feels like I got more out of a chromebook. Acer sells refurbished products on Amazon & Ebay so you can usually pick one up at a steal. The one I got is $300 brand new but snagged a refurbished one for $180. Acer refurbished products came recommended by the Chrome OS subreddit and I don't think I could have distinguished mine from a brand new one. I do experience some lag while turking due to how much multitasking there is so you could look into ones with better processors but I don't know what price they run. You could even get something a bit cheaper with the same performance if you opt out of touchscreens.
