PC keeps track of the number of pres and displays it. And yes, when PC first starts it looks for hits at a certain speed, and if it gets pres it slows down how often it looks. But like by microseconds, until it finds the speed that stops giving it pres (someone please correct me if I am getting this wrong).

There is a way to adjust what speed it starts at, though...I just haven't done that and let it figure itself out. The generally only takes a few minutes.

That's really, REALLY interesting. Thanks, @tricker ! (I just did a search for PREs generally, and see that @Kadauchi has an "Accept Logged Out HITs" script that lets you accept HITs directly from a logged out HIT Scraper. ...So I think I have a few weeks experimentation ahead of me. Again, thanks much, tricker!)

I sit on the couch most of the time, no change in earnings.. however I have found more consistent $100 days when at a desk. (only because i can bring a drink and whatnot with me without spilling it on the couch 24/7)

I change positions/spots all day b/c of chronic pain. I didn't try in bed yet
Honestly though, whatever works, works. Sometimes I work through the pain if I'm at the desk, because the kiddos take me more seriously, and leave me alone LMAO
