I went to a party once when I was about 7 months pregnant. Towards the end of the night, we had run out of alcohol and since I was the only sober person, they sent me to the store. I walked in and bought a buttload of booze and got quite a few scathing looks.

despite being 2/3 again over the legal age
but i never get carded
just today I bought a bottle of vodka,
and the line was long at the register
a second register opened up and the cashier signalled me over, saying "I can take you over here"
i loudly harumphed and said "I seriously doubt you can take me"
when i finally got my turn to pay, they just scanned the item and took my money
