It coulda been dumber. My keys are on a lanyard, and one time I managed to close the door with the lanyard inside and the key in the lock. I couldn't turn it or remove it because of the angle. When I finally figured out how to get it out, I realized my skirt was also closed up in the door. -_-

I don't have the same story but...keys can be tricky!

I often leave my keys in my front door. I have a security screen that locks in front of it, so that is locked, but if my hands are full and I kick the door open after opening it, I often forget to take my keys out.

I now make it a habit to open the front door and check for keys every night before bed since I've done this so often.

The other day I left my keys in the office door. Someone just walked right in (our door is kept locked, with a camera on it) shocking us, and handed us my key chain which has all of my keys, even master keys. Sigh.

I suck with keys.
