Hello All,

Did anybody else do a HIT for Zoe B Cullen this week? You have to transcribe 5 pages of a census after joining a group chat with a manager who assigned the page numbers and agreed your fee.

I never heard anything after submitting my work and today I got an email from someone called Bobby E who says their ac punt was shut down because they were hacked and they want to pay me by PayPal. He wanted my name, PP address and country. This was sent as a group mail. When I refused to give that information he said their was a penny hit uploaded from a new account and if I accepted it he would bonus my payment.

I've since found out we were used as rabbits to see how little we would work for and some workers agreed to $2 and others $9 for each page. It's all very strange and suspicious and I'd like to hear if anyone else has had a positive outcome from the requester. The work with really head wrecking excel transcription so it would be nice to be compensated.

I didn't do the HIT but I would say you should accept and submit the penny HIT. Worst that could happen is a rejection and people don't usually go to those lengths to give out a rejection. (Except to @YAHU)

Pinterest: I keep envying those Pinterest numbers! Easily half the ones I catch on panda (racy or spammy ones) give me "No Tasks Available" and it's frustrating...

I know. I was super excited that I caught 20 of them. Then only one worked. Had to put the rest back. Probably the same 20 broken ones keep getting shuffled around.

One guy sent me 12 emails today. This is the worst hit I've ever done but her Turkopticon wasn't bad and only mentioned other surveys.

yea, got a corrupt data base somehow & it lost track of a day that is gone from mturk. Have to delete the script and start fresh, have it calculate the last 45 days.

Have to be careful with the batch hits that don't have a us qual, Brelig has done this in the past as well will just release everyone's info randomly or give your info by mistake as a contact because they get spammed with so many workers wanting pay.
