Did you know that when women started to teach as a profession it was because they were cheaper? This stemmed from the idea that a woman wouldn't have to support a family, since after they got married they wouldn't teach or the husband would be the source of finances. Also with so few options they were willing to take lower pay. This is why teachers as a whole are still underpaid. They are one of the most important positions in a community and have some of the highest expectations and they are paid very little for that effort because women were not valued in society. Men came in to teach things like math and science which were the higher paying jobs, especially those in administration. I know some inspirational and empowering women who kick ass in the field of academia all day everyday. I cannot imagine what the world would look like without women like them. Think of the changes that could be made if we valued everyone? Not by gender, race, social standing, etc... but as an individual. We might actually see some changes in this world.
My point being Mturk is unique where you get to set your own pay limits and how much you are worth as an individual enjoy that
