Computer question for all you tech guru's....My husband and I both use Macs...but our son (7) is really into playing Minecraft on the computer now ( because all the mods are easier to install and use) but of course he's not getting a 2,000 mac for Christmas, just to play Minecraft....whats a decent laptop for really just mainly playing Minecraft and maybe run Office on.

I always recommend the Dell Inspiron 7559. If it's ever on sale in the Dell Outlet you can get it for under $500 but it's been a few months since that happened. (http://outlet.us.dell.com/ARBOnline...c=us&cs=22&l=en&s=dfh&brandid=2201&fid=110666 $689 still good though)

Minecraft doesn't really require a lot to run. Even my laptop, which is not a gaming laptop, has the minimum requirements to run the game.

It depends on your price range. This site shows a list of gaming laptops that will run most popular games such as Minecraft and League of Legends.

As far as the specs go, the minimum requirements are here, but consider the bigger the world/the more mods, the slower it'll run, so get the recommended specs at the very least.

Sorry it's my fault. I got the rare opportunity to be online in the morning and fired up the laptop and chased them all away I got a whopping 4. Was hoping for a bunch since I've had stuff going on and only pulled $80 total the last three weeks. Need another $120 in the next 2 weeks to meet the minimum I need per month.
