is there a way we can find out how much comast internet we use in terabytes?

If you want a non-Comcast branded way to monitor your internet usage, you can use Networx (free and light-weight software). You can see a breakdown of how much you both upload and download daily/weekly/monthly, and can also set a cap and have it warn you when you get within a certain percentage of whatever cap you set. I've been using it a couple years and haven't had any issues with it.
