Requesters could get the same thing for free by asking for demographics in a HIT or screening people out or various other things.

I started a year ago on mturk. Struggling to survive with a pretty brutal disability. I made $315 in two months. Thought it was amazing. Joined mtg my earnings barely went up. but even after a year. my daily goal is still $10. Because I try. and I have to try really really hard sometimes to even get that cause life is brutal. and thats ok. Atleast were trying. I joined this forum and my earnings and shot through the roof to sometimes 30 or 40 dollars a day. That's amazing to me. Some people are really good at scripts. some are not. We're all in this together whether you make $5 a day or $100 a day. Thank you for one year. Thank you for putting up with me. I'm grateful for everyday for the help and the company.

What happened was I said 40 dollars wasn't much for an all days worth of work which I assumed. Then the admin and his crew attacked me and started cursing me out. I didn't do anything to deserve such hate and attack. I don't know whats going on. I guess I'm just a piece of shit.

wtf, why? What makes knowing if someone uses android worth over twice as much as knowing if they have a tablet?

It's not quite the same thing, since if people are going to lie, they can only lie once and permanently for the premium quals.

A requester who knows what they're doing (some do!), could set up a HIT to screen people out if they don't qualify after giving their demographic info. That would cost pennies if they paid workers a small amount for it, and would be free if they made workers return the HIT if screened out. Not even close to the premium qualifications pricing.
