Good, since more requesters will have access to posting HITs easily, without having to go through a friend or third party services. They can start as soon as they want, although I imagine for academic requesters, it'll take them some time to acquire the appropriate approvals. But for non-academic requesters, it sounds like they can start right away.

Historically, UK and Australian requesters have paid better than US requesters. So hopefully they'll influence things in a good way.

I was just about to say Australian requesters at Australian pay rates would be fantastic. Or any of the nordic countries.

India could potentially drag it down, but I think they'd have to pay at least near the same rates as we see now or people won't do them.
