I have to admit, this stuff worries me a little bit. Does anyone else think that academic researchers might someday decide that Mturk data is corrupt? I do my best to be honest. Sometimes I feel that I'm more honest than some of the researchers, but it's difficult not to be jaded.

Having said that, bring on the batches!

Doubtful that they will bail on mturk. Back in the old days our most affordable option was recruiting participants from campus which does not really allow for generalizing to a larger population. Surveys are getting smarter, some are asking questions regarding number of hits and surveys done and statistical analysis can be done to control for any of those effects (or to see if the number of surveys done even has an effect).

Mturk is still a really good deal for researchers.
