So somebody got scammy with a requester, my work auto approved but I received a hard block because of it. and I quote from the email "All of our results, including legitimate, are now unfavorable. To avoid and deter future bad results anybody who worked on the project is receiving a hard block we apologize for the inconvenience"

wow. So they think hitting everyone with a block is a good idea? Do they know how far the average turker can throw a pitchfork?

My little buddy here, unfortunately passed unexpectedly last night suddenly. So hard to say to a furry little friend, because he is part of my little family. I can barely look at the screen today as it burns from him passing. Guess I just need to vent a little here. Thanks for listening crowd

Sorry for your loss @Kuddish. I remember what it was like when my cat passed, it's rough for a while but it'll get easier I recommend shelving the photos to go through at a later time though, after it's not as fresh.

Not sure what happened to the original owner, but nathan is well known as a very shady online aggregator always operating in a grey area. I bet he thought he could take advantage of the userbase for both personal crowd work and the small donation revenue, when nobody wanted to do his crap aggregate work he bailed. Looks like he is getting a pretty good return on his initial investment.

My problem with posting a name is they are an academic requester who I am sure had the best of intentions, I will leave T.O. but unless you too were affected by this directly don't start some crazed mturk internet witch hunt. I've already reached out to this person and am working on hopefully a solution. the requester was Tawsif Hosain
