Yeah it might be better to listen to the the long time turkers who know the rigors of it. I've only been at this a few months so burnout is something I haven't had experience with yet.
I've been at it for about a year but I take summers off to dig in Belize and Mexico

I cant catch a C-SAT anymore to save my life, are you guys doing requester searches or individual pandas?
I have requester search on and individual because I have never caught anything with the requester search. Until I decide it completely does or doesn't work I'm keeping both on.

It's them or DirecTV and we tried that. I have woods behind me and the trees make the signal go out constantly. I keep thinking about going to an antenna and streaming but the hubby doesn't want to. He is constantly recording 5 or 6 shows at a time :( I still need fast internet and that goes back to TW.
Oh yeah. When we had we didn't have a choice either.

Where do you dig in Mexico?
I remember visiting the Cancun area and seeing Chichinetza, but my favorite was actually Coba.

Keep in mind you have to keep wiping out the group ID's (not the requester ID) on the search or else it'll just look for THAT price point.

I've been meaning to ask if there is a way to keep it static or prevent it from changing everytime it catches a HIT?

Tomorrow is probably going to be a slow day.
I don't know for sure, but it is a Saturday.

I would highly recommend people spend some time learning a skill.

Option 1: AHK
Here is a tutorial if you like to read about things https://autohotkey.com/docs/Tutorial.htm
Here are some videos if you prefer visual https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtttH4g_CYQ

Option 2: Scripting

Start with https://www.codecademy.com/ (I recommend Javascript and/or JQuery) if you are an absolute beginner. This will teach you the basic concepts, ideas, and vocabulary.
Once you have that down, move on to playing with code on a site like JSFiddle.net.
Grab the source code from any hit and try to make a script for it. If anyone would like I have some code from some basic hits I can share with you.

PM if you have questions. I won't be Turking tomorrow, but I always watch the forum

Also anyone can do this. I know it seems intimidating but it really isn't. I had absolutely zero experience with programming and I was able to teach myself with these tools.
The tools are out there. You just need to use them :)

Funny story for those of us waiting for good stuff to happen. My son is 3 and cannot say the word Archaeologist for the life of him. He told his teacher the other day "my mom is a cockiloogist because she likes it dirty"

I remember visiting there. It is beautiful. And so impressive. Have you done any work in Mexico City in those ruins they found under the city?

That's pretty darn cool. I wanted to be an archaeologist for a long time. Kind of wish I would have pursued it vs graduating with something I ended up hating.

And then when you get a bit familiar with Javascript, research "Selenium Webdriver".

(That experience can even get you a good paying job outside of MTurk doing software testing.)
