I do that same thing pretty often. I'm pretty set on trying to make something today though. Mondays are the hardest for me and on a lot of them I take a lunch break and never come back.

But most people do say happy birthday anyway. Which makes it just weird cause you know damn well they didnt remember.

I almost always remember on my own, but using Facebook allows me to blend into the crowd and not stand out, which is what I prefer. I don't want to call people or communicate in other ways, with some exceptions (like my husband or daughter and a couple friends). And for the people whose birthdays I might not have remembered off the top of my head, it still allows me to acknowledge the fact I noticed Facebook informed me and felt they were important enough to send a message to. Not all of us are particularly socially inclined. I find it a happy medium. Without the internet, and Facebook, I wouldn't stay in contact with people not because of lack of desire but because it allows me to do it on my terms, in a less socially-intrusive way.

Yeah, I went to go get lunch and I was like "Well, nothing's up let's write." Then I was like "Well, nothing's up let's go do WoW dailies." and now I'm like "It's almost supper time, this would be a bad time to try anything."
